I know I’ve been spending all my boyband time lately with Carats and in SHINee World, but I’m TOTALLY IN for the BTS Butter release!! In just over 2 hours we will have new song!!! We haven’t had a comeback from BTS since November when they released the Life Goes On album.
But that doesn’t mean we haven’t seen BTS in the last 6 months!
First – let’s talk about their Grammy nomination for Best Pop Group Performance for their song Dynamite. Of course Army were thrilled when they were nominated (and devastated when they didn’t win) – but I think it’s just the beginning of Grammy nominations for this group! No doubt Butter will be a contender next year with it’s upbeat vibe – and who knows what else they will release this year! BTS is just getting better and better. And let’s not forget about allllll the performances we were given leading up to the Grammy nomination – BTS week on Jimmy Fallon was especially epic!
We also saw BTS’s agency, Big Hit, become a subsidiary of the much larger Hybe Corporation. Exciting times for me and my fellow K-Pop fans since it means BTS , TXT, Enhypen, NU’EST and Seventeen are all part of the SAME AGENCY. Fingers crossed for a BTS/Seventeen colab in the near future!
And now we have had weeks of Butter teasers and hints – and let me just say the styling for this era is INSANE. Now all that’s left for us ARMY is to wait for the actual release….2 hours and counting!
